About Sarah Glade Gurney
I entered the practice of law after two successful careers that engaged my advocacy and writing skills and made the law a clear next choice. I have practiced exclusively in Sonoma County since 1990. Starting as an associate in a litigation firm, I then joined a Santa Rosa firm that was interested in alternative dispute resolution. I became a partner and spent ten years in a growing business. After I was elected to the Sebastopol City Council, I decided to open my solo office downtown in my home town [see professional resume].
I have lived in Sebastopol for thirty years and have been actively involved in community service through that time [see community service resume]. My husband has enjoyed a long career in education, where he has excelled as a Kindergarten teacher and the creator of Soundabet. We have two grown children, a daughter in medical school and a son in West Africa in the Peace Corps. |
